A 1891 Masterpiece Brought Into Space
In 1891, Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec created his first advertising poster for the Moulin Rouge, immortalizing the dancer "La Goulue" and the silhouette of "Valentin le Désossé". This sculpture brings that historic work into three dimensions, merging high-resolution acetate printing with minimal steel framework into a piece that lives through light and shadow.
When a directional light source hits the 6 mm steel rod frame, the geometric shadows cast on the wall enter into dialogue with the background image — transforming the piece with every shift in light throughout the day.
Handcrafted, No Industrial Process
Every element is individually cut, welded and finished in our studio in Spain (Furst_Ori / Artandshadow). The steel is hand-brushed to achieve an antique silver finish, then sealed with a transparent protective coating. The subtle variation in the brushed surface makes each piece genuinely one of a kind.

Product Safety & Compliance Information
Legal Notice & Artistic Nature
This is an original, handmade work of art, produced in a
limited series and intended for collectors and decorative display purposes
only. In the interest of full transparency and the safety of our collectors, we
provide the following information regarding the correct handling and
preservation of the artwork.
Intended Use & Environment
- Indoor
use only. This sculpture is designed exclusively for indoor decorative
display. Exposure to outdoor conditions — including rain, moisture, frost,
or high humidity — will cause corrosion of the metal components and
degradation of the acrylic elements. - Not
a toy. This is a professional artwork and is not intended for children.
Please keep it out of reach of children and pets at all times.
Material Hazards & Handling
- Metal
components may include intentional sharp edges, points, or delicate
structural details inherent to the artistic design. Handle with care
during unboxing and placement to avoid injury or damage to the piece. - Acrylic
elements should not be subjected to excessive pressure or impact, as they
may crack or detach from the metal frame. - Stability:
Place the sculpture on a flat, stable, and sturdy surface capable of
supporting its weight. Avoid high-traffic areas where it could be
accidentally knocked over.
Maintenance & Care
- Cleaning:
Use only a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Never use alcohol, chemical
solvents, or abrasive products — these will permanently cloud, scratch, or
crack the acrylic surface. - Heat
& light: Keep away from open flames, candles, and direct high-heat
sources. Prolonged exposure to intense heat or direct sunlight may warp or
discolour the acrylic components.
