A visceral exploration of logic and confinement through the lens of industrial design, No Exit offers a commanding sculptural narrative and serves as a "visual theater" of human persistence. In this, one-of-a-kind work, we captured two figures in a perpetual struggle to break free from a looping, contradictory inscription: “Enter Only, Do Not Exit” below and “No Exit” above. It stands as an unsettling commentary on modern cycles of logic—a definitive architectural expression of Catch22 in a singlular human theater.
We designed this piece to behave like a living architectural shadow narrative, utilizing the wall itself as a collaborative canvas for a secondary narrative. The intricate TIG and MIG welded structure is engineered to cast a shifting shadow that transforms as natural light moves across the room or an interior spotlight intervenes during the course of the day. By layering the stainless steel bars and calibrated iron, we created a deceptive sense of depth that draws you in, only to trap your gaze within the same logical loop as the sculpted figures. Under focused light, the inscriptions project directly onto the wall, making the “No Exit” warning a physical, three-dimensional geometric composition within your environment.
The craftsmanship behind the piece highlights a rigorous, hands-on process in our Granada studio, using iron and steel as our “ink” to draw complex narratives in space. This sculpture utilizes high-precision welding techniques typically reserved for industrial engineering to create a visually intricate composition out of raw materials. As explicitly indicated in the provenance, this unique 1-of-1 original conceptual sculpture includes its specialized certificate of authenticity.

Product Safety & Compliance Information
Legal Notice & Artistic Nature
This is an original, handmade work of art, produced in a
limited series and intended for collectors and decorative display purposes
only. In the interest of full transparency and the safety of our collectors, we
provide the following information regarding the correct handling and
preservation of the artwork.
Intended Use & Environment
- Indoor
use only. This sculpture is designed exclusively for indoor decorative
display. Exposure to outdoor conditions — including rain, moisture, frost,
or high humidity — will cause corrosion of the metal components and
degradation of the acrylic elements. - Not
a toy. This is a professional artwork and is not intended for children.
Please keep it out of reach of children and pets at all times.
Material Hazards & Handling
- Metal
components may include intentional sharp edges, points, or delicate
structural details inherent to the artistic design. Handle with care
during unboxing and placement to avoid injury or damage to the piece. - Acrylic
elements should not be subjected to excessive pressure or impact, as they
may crack or detach from the metal frame. - Stability:
Place the sculpture on a flat, stable, and sturdy surface capable of
supporting its weight. Avoid high-traffic areas where it could be
accidentally knocked over.
Maintenance & Care
- Cleaning:
Use only a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Never use alcohol, chemical
solvents, or abrasive products — these will permanently cloud, scratch, or
crack the acrylic surface. - Heat
& light: Keep away from open flames, candles, and direct high-heat
sources. Prolonged exposure to intense heat or direct sunlight may warp or
discolour the acrylic components.
