Heart of the Matter: Anatomical Shadow Wall Sculpture

Handmade metal wall decor

Heart of the Matter is a handcrafted metal wall sculpture by Furst_Ori that transforms a classic anatomical engraving into a striking piece of contemporary interior art. By focusing on a detailed vintage anatomical heart, the design brings an organic complexity into a structural format, establishing a mood of quiet contemplation. This elegant composition shifts the perspective on a classic scientific study, turning it into an evocative and sophisticated statement piece.

The sculpture is engineered to interact naturally with ambient light, creating a translucent quality where the central image appears suspended within the structure. The detailed linework of the anatomical heart engraving is captured in a high-quality print, secured and protected inside high-transparency acrylic glass. This print is housed within a geometric frame constructed from steel bars. As light changes throughout the day, the structural metal lines project crisp, shifting shadows through the composition and onto the wall, transforming the flat engraving into a three-dimensional experience and a natural focal point for the room.

Reflecting true handmade integrity, each piece is crafted and assembled in Spain within the Artandshadow studio in Granada. The frames are built from durable steel bars, welded by us, and finished with a distinct silver iron sheen. Because every sculpture is built individually by Furst_Ori, each one carries subtle variations that give it an individual character and a lasting material value.

This original design interior object offers a refined contemporary touch, making it highly suited for modern living rooms, minimalist spaces, and executive office decor. It serves as a distinct conversation piece for medical professionals, architects, interior designers, and collectors who appreciate anatomical history blended with a modern, industrial art aesthetic.

Product Safety & Compliance Information

Legal Notice & Artistic Nature

This is an original, handmade work of art, produced in a
limited series and intended for collectors and decorative display purposes
only. In the interest of full transparency and the safety of our collectors, we
provide the following information regarding the correct handling and
preservation of the artwork.

Intended Use & Environment

  • Indoor
use only. This sculpture is designed exclusively for indoor decorative
display. Exposure to outdoor conditions — including rain, moisture, frost,
or high humidity — will cause corrosion of the metal components and
    degradation of the acrylic elements.
  • Not
a toy. This is a professional artwork and is not intended for children.
Please keep it out of reach of children and pets at all times.

Material Hazards & Handling

  • Metal
components may include intentional sharp edges, points, or delicate
structural details inherent to the artistic design. Handle with care
during unboxing and placement to avoid injury or damage to the piece.
  • Acrylic
elements should not be subjected to excessive pressure or impact, as they
may crack or detach from the metal frame.
  • Stability:
Place the sculpture on a flat, stable, and sturdy surface capable of
supporting its weight. Avoid high-traffic areas where it could be
    accidentally knocked over.

Maintenance & Care

  • Cleaning:
Use only a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Never use alcohol, chemical
solvents, or abrasive products — these will permanently cloud, scratch, or
    crack the acrylic surface.
  • Heat
& light: Keep away from open flames, candles, and direct high-heat
sources. Prolonged exposure to intense heat or direct sunlight may warp or
    discolour the acrylic components.
