The second figure. The same space. A different tension. Cage 2 is the second of two distinct studies exploring the delicate vulnerabilities of human forms suspended within a constructivist-inspired visual space. Like its companion piece, Cage 1, it relies on a precise layering technique where we apply Indian ink with an airbrush across multiple sequential acrylic sheets. By displacing the imagery across separate panes, we are able to achieve a rich, holographic three-dimensional depth, giving the figure an evocative volume that feels caught between distinct physical planes.

To bring the composition to life, we housed the layered acrylic within a hand-painted LED lightbox illuminated by an internal LED strip. By diffusing the light through a soft canvas layer, we allowed the piece to glow with a warm, cinematic quality that softens the harshness of the constructivist geometry, lending the sculpture an intimate, almost breathing presence in a room. The structural frame is crafted from metal, providing a clean, industrial border that acts as both a physical boundary and a conceptual enclosure for the figure inside.

While the two Cage studies operate in a powerful dialogue when displayed together as a diptych, Cage 2 holds its own completely as a standalone original. It is a fully unique, hand-crafted creation designed to interact dynamically with the ambient light of its surroundings. The artwork arrives fully assembled and ready to hang directly on your wall, hand-signed by us: Furst_Ori.

Product Safety & Compliance Information

Legal Notice & Artistic Nature

This is an original, handmade work of art, produced in a
limited series and intended for collectors and decorative display purposes
only. In the interest of full transparency and the safety of our collectors, we
provide the following information regarding the correct handling and
preservation of the artwork.

Intended Use & Environment

  • Indoor
use only. This sculpture is designed exclusively for indoor decorative
display. Exposure to outdoor conditions — including rain, moisture, frost,
or high humidity — will cause corrosion of the metal components and
    degradation of the acrylic elements.
  • Not
a toy. This is a professional artwork and is not intended for children.
Please keep it out of reach of children and pets at all times.

Material Hazards & Handling

  • Metal
components may include intentional sharp edges, points, or delicate
structural details inherent to the artistic design. Handle with care
during unboxing and placement to avoid injury or damage to the piece.
  • Acrylic
elements should not be subjected to excessive pressure or impact, as they
may crack or detach from the metal frame.
  • Stability:
Place the sculpture on a flat, stable, and sturdy surface capable of
supporting its weight. Avoid high-traffic areas where it could be
    accidentally knocked over.

Maintenance & Care

  • Cleaning:
Use only a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Never use alcohol, chemical
solvents, or abrasive products — these will permanently cloud, scratch, or
    crack the acrylic surface.
  • Heat
& light: Keep away from open flames, candles, and direct high-heat
sources. Prolonged exposure to intense heat or direct sunlight may warp or
    discolour the acrylic components.
