A raw and contemplative emblem of the physical cost of creation, Furst_Ori Handmade offers an ironic, singular statement on authorship, labor, and the vulnerability of the artist. In this singular conceptual work, we decided to reveal our own primary creative tools—our hands—cast in high-definition plaster and fixed to a black-painted reclaimed wooden pallet section. Using the symbolic language of sacrifice and craftsmanship, we invite you to reflect on the weight of manual creation in a digital age. The composition subtly draws upon the classical iconography of a crucifix, utilizing the universal gravity of that historic form to speak to the literal devotion—and occasional existential dread—required to bring art into the world by hand. Rather than merely occupying space, this 1-of-1 original piece moves entirely beyond decoration, functioning as a definitive three-dimensional wall composition with a bit of a psychological edge.

The installation explores an intimate self-portrait, centering the physical act of making as the subject itself. We chose a reclaimed wooden pallet section to anchor the work in the world of raw industrial labor, while the rather poignant mounting with antique forged nails channels a historic, sacred reverence for artistic devotion (if not quite proving we really did suffer for our art). A striking visual tension is achieved through the stark contrast between the raw white plaster forms and the deep matte black finished wood, utilizing a minimalist aesthetic that highlights the intricate details and fine lines captured in the cast. Because of its site-responsive architectural form and symbolic weight, this original design interior piece is most effective when displayed on a clean, neutral wall that allows its quiet, solemn theater to unfold without distraction. As explicitly indicated in the provenance, this unique 1-of-1 conceptual sculpture includes its specialized certificate of authenticity.

Legal Notice & Artistic Nature

This is an original, handmade work of art, produced in a
limited series and intended for collectors and decorative display purposes
only. In the interest of full transparency and the safety of our collectors, we
provide the following information regarding the correct handling and
preservation of the artwork.

Intended Use & Environment

  • Indoor
use only. This sculpture is designed exclusively for indoor decorative
display. Exposure to outdoor conditions — including rain, moisture, frost,
or high humidity — will cause corrosion of the metal components and
    degradation of the acrylic elements.
  • Not
a toy. This is a professional artwork and is not intended for children.
Please keep it out of reach of children and pets at all times.

Material Hazards & Handling

  • Metal
components may include intentional sharp edges, points, or delicate
structural details inherent to the artistic design. Handle with care
during unboxing and placement to avoid injury or damage to the piece.
  • Acrylic
elements should not be subjected to excessive pressure or impact, as they
may crack or detach from the metal frame.
  • Stability:
Place the sculpture on a flat, stable, and sturdy surface capable of
supporting its weight. Avoid high-traffic areas where it could be
    accidentally knocked over.

Maintenance & Care

  • Cleaning:
Use only a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Never use alcohol, chemical
solvents, or abrasive products — these will permanently cloud, scratch, or
    crack the acrylic surface.
  • Heat
& light: Keep away from open flames, candles, and direct high-heat
sources. Prolonged exposure to intense heat or direct sunlight may warp or
    discolour the acrylic components.
