This handcrafted wall sculpture by Furst_Ori centers on the iconic hand from Michelangelo's Creation of Adam – the most recognized detail of the Sistine Chapel ceiling, painted between 1508 and 1512, and one of the most reproduced images in the history of Western art. The design applies a bold Op Art treatment to this transcendent Renaissance gesture, transforming a classic historical masterpiece into a geometric, contemporary visual experience. By blending classical figurative art with abstract optical patterns, the artwork establishes a compelling dialogue between historical mastery and modern design.

The sculpture is engineered to interact naturally with ambient light, turning a flat, familiar detail into a three-dimensional experience. The intricate linework and optical patterns of the collage are captured in a high-quality print, secured and protected behind clear acrylic glass. This artwork is housed within a structural geometric frame constructed from steel bars. As light changes throughout the day, the metal frame projects crisp, shifting shadows across the wall, interacting with the optical design of the print to give the entire composition a dynamic, ever-changing presence in the room.

Reflecting a commitment to premium quality and handmade integrity, each piece is crafted and assembled in Spain within the Artandshadow studio in Granada. The frames are built from durable steel bars, welded by us, and finished with a distinct silver iron sheen. Because every sculpture is built individually by Furst_Ori, each one carries subtle variations that give it an individual character and a lasting material value.

This original design interior object offers versatile display options, making it equally at home wall-mounted in a modern living room or placed as free-standing desktop art decor in a studio or home office. It serves as a distinct conversation piece for architects, interior designers, and collectors who appreciate Renaissance history, industrial art, and geometric compositions for high-end spaces.

Product Safety & Compliance Information

Legal Notice & Artistic Nature

This is an original, handmade work of art, produced in a
limited series and intended for collectors and decorative display purposes
only. In the interest of full transparency and the safety of our collectors, we
provide the following information regarding the correct handling and
preservation of the artwork.

Intended Use & Environment

  • Indoor
use only. This sculpture is designed exclusively for indoor decorative
display. Exposure to outdoor conditions — including rain, moisture, frost,
or high humidity — will cause corrosion of the metal components and
    degradation of the acrylic elements.
  • Not
a toy. This is a professional artwork and is not intended for children.
Please keep it out of reach of children and pets at all times.

Material Hazards & Handling

  • Metal
components may include intentional sharp edges, points, or delicate
structural details inherent to the artistic design. Handle with care
during unboxing and placement to avoid injury or damage to the piece.
  • Acrylic
elements should not be subjected to excessive pressure or impact, as they
may crack or detach from the metal frame.
  • Stability:
Place the sculpture on a flat, stable, and sturdy surface capable of
supporting its weight. Avoid high-traffic areas where it could be
    accidentally knocked over.

Maintenance & Care

  • Cleaning:
Use only a soft, dry microfibre cloth. Never use alcohol, chemical
solvents, or abrasive products — these will permanently cloud, scratch, or
    crack the acrylic surface.
  • Heat
& light: Keep away from open flames, candles, and direct high-heat
sources. Prolonged exposure to intense heat or direct sunlight may warp or
    discolour the acrylic components.
